SwagBucks Review: Is SwagBucks a Scam or Is It Legit?
Swagbucks Review: Is Swagbucks a Scam or Is It Legit?
What Is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is a rewards site that allows you to
earn rewards by doing activities online. Swagbucks has been around since 2005 and has grown to become the largest and most well-known GPT (get paid to) site in the world. The site currently has around 13 million members.
Whenever you log into your Swagbucks account, you
might end up taking a few surveys, playing games, printing coupons, or watching
videos. Every time you complete one of those activities you earn rewards called
‘Swagbucks’ or SBs.
Basically, it's an easy way to earn some extra cash at home for doing very little.
Who Can Join Swagbucks?
Residents over the age of 13 who live in the USA,
UK, Canada, Australia, India, Ireland, France or Germany can sign up for a
Swagbucks account.
Is Swagbucks a Scam?
It’s common for people to wonder if Swagbucks is
worth the time and effort, which usually leads them to ask ‘is swagbucks a
scam?’. The easy answer is No. It’s not a scam.
While you might not get rich with Swagbucks, it’s
a great way to earn extra cash at home for very little effort. It doesn't take long to accumulate enough points to redeem for cash or e-gift cards.
Earning Swagbucks Rewards
The best part about Swagbucks is that there are
plenty of different ways to earn SB rewards.
Sign up for your Swagbucks account and log into
the website. You’ll notice there are several different sections to choose from listed
down the left-hand side of your account dashboard.
These sections are:
Shop:
You can receive cashback for any purchases you make from major online stores if
you click through from your Swagbucks account. Some typical stores or retailers
include Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Lenovo, and more
Watch:
Take a bit of time to watch videos about various topics and earn SBs. The
videos might be on news, entertainment, music, travel, or a range of other
topics.
Discover:
The Discover section lets you explore a variety of special deals, discounts,
cashback offers or coupons that can be printed out.
Search:
If you use the Swagbucks search engine instead of heading to Google, you can
earn some extra SBs each time you search for something online.
Play:
Once each day you can play one of the simple games available in the hopes of winning some prizes.
Tasks:
If you’ve taken the time to earn level badges with Swagbucks, you might qualify
to complete paying tasks. The simple tasks are quick and easy and make it
easier to earn more rewards. You might be asked to rate online content or draw boxes on products.
Referring
friends: If you refer a friend to join up with Swagbucks, you could earn
10% of whatever your referrals earn. When the person you referred earns 300 SBs, you both receive an extra bonus. It’s a good way to boost your SBs a bit
faster.
Bonus:
Each day Swagbucks offers various ways to earn bonus SBs. Take a Daily Poll or
complete the tasks set for you to do and you could be rewarded with some extra
SBs.
SB Codes: If you follow Swagbucks on Facebook or Twitter, you might find random SB codes posted throughout the day
Redeeming Your Rewards
When you’ve accumulated enough SBs you can redeem
them for either cash or e-gift cards. Alternatively, you can choose to donate
your SBs to charities such as Red Cross or Unicef for as little as 5 SBs ($0.05 cents).
If you choose to redeem your SBs for cash, simply
request a PayPal payment to your account. If you have 2500 SBs you can redeem
for a $25 PayPal payment. A $50 payment is 5,000 SBs and for 10,000 SBs you can
redeem for $100.
Keep in mind that payments can take between 10 and 14 days to process, so be patient. Swagbucks isn't trying to scam you. That's just their processing time folks.
If you prefer to redeem your SBs for an e-gift
card, you can choose from a wide range of options, including iTunes cards,
Amazon, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, Foot Locker, JC Penney, Facebook Game
credits, and more. Denominations range from as little as $1 up to more than
$100.
